                                                             Q. How does the Slim Me Program Work?

A:  The Slim Me diet program helps you lose weight rapidly by unlocking the fat stores in the body. When you want to know how to lose weight fast, this is the answer. 

With typical diets, our body tries to hold onto fat when you are dieting as an emergency reserve. In other words, it tries to burn the fat only as a last resort. The Slim Me program reverses this and makes your body use the unwanted fat reserves first. 


          Q. What is the Slim Me diet program?

A:  Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, a renowned specialist on obesity and weight regulation, introduced a program that has helped people from all over the world overcome weight loss resistance. 

When the drops are taken in relatively small doses and coupled with a very low calorie diet, people can lose up to approximately 8 kg in 21 days and 15 kg in 40 days. This diet has helped thousands of people lose those stubborn kilograms, particularly unwanted fat reserves around the tummy and hips. 

Slim Me drops are processed according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in a registered facility in Australia. Other natural supplements are used including amino acids, fulvic acid, peppermint, fennel seed, kelp extract and a micro-blend of essential oils.

          Q. Do I have to follow a special diet while I take the drops?

A:  Yes. If you want to know how to lose weight quickly with this diet, you must follow the entire program as described in Dr. Simeons' manuscript, "Pounds and Inches", where he outlines a special 500-calorie-per-day diet that was tested on thousands of patients.  The Slim Me drops take effect when you reduce your food intake so that the mobilized fat will be used for your body's energy needs. 

If you fail to follow the diet you will fail to lose weight, so it is important to follow the diet plan precisely. If you only follow the diet without taking the Slim Me drops, you are simply starving yourself because there is no fat in the bloodstream to burn. 


          Q. Won't I be hungry with only 500 calories a day?

A:  When following the first phase of the Slim Me program correctly, most people experience no hunger in the first few days of the diet. You will then notice that your body becomes accustomed to the change in eating habits and becomes satisfied with less food. Also important is that your body knows it has calories floating around in the form of fat to use, so it will signal your brain that you are full more quickly. Some people even find it difficult to eat the full 500 calories because they feel full on the program.

          Q. Will I starve if I only eat 500 calories per day?

A:   No. Because whilst on the Slim Me program your body begins to “consume” the fat, which acts as a source of energy in place of food. In essence, you burn about 200 - 500 grams of fat each day (approximately 3,500 calories). Therefore, your total consumption each day will be about 4,000 calories – 500 from food and 3,500 from fat. That is why most people do not experience hunger while on the diet, another one of the positive HCG diet side effects.

          Q. Why do I 'gorge' for the first 2 days of the program?

A:  It takes 2 days for the Slim Me drops to completely enter your system; gorging helps with hunger feelings while on the program.

          Q. What food am I allowed to eat?

A:  The diet is balanced, unlike many extreme "fad" diets out there. It consists of a healthy variety of protein, vegetables and fruit, with a small amount of starch. You eat the food in specific portions and combinations as outlined by Dr. Simeons. It is important to follow the diet plan as this has been tested thoroughly and fine tuned to achieve the maximum weight loss outcome.

Q. How much weight can I lose?

A:  Most people report a loss of 200 grams to 500 grams a day over the course of the program. 


          Q. Can diabetics participate in the Slim Me program?

A:  Some individuals with diabetes are looking for positive ways to manage their weight and the Slim Me program can be used in order to achieve successful weight loss, however we recommend you seek advice from a medical practitioner prior to commencing any weight loss program. 

          Q. Is it healthy to lose so much weight a day?

A:  Weight loss studies have shown that weight lost following the Simeons program comes directly from adipose fat tissue (stored fat released into the bloodstream) rather than lean muscle. In doing so, the weight lost comes directly from fat used as fuel by the body and does not strip the body of much needed muscle, vitamins or minerals essential to maintain good health. The program naturally releases excessive amounts of fat-stored nutrients into the blood stream which is absorbed by the body. 

          Q. Can I do more than one round of the Slim Me Program?

A:  Yes. However it’s important to let your body rejuvenate between rounds.

You do this by using the maintenance phase of the diet so you don’t gain

weight during that period.


Q. Is it okay to exercise during the program?

A:   Only mild exercise during Phase 2 such as walking, Pilates and yoga. You can resume normal exercise in Phase 3. Note that doing strenuous exercise, especially during phase 2, adds stress to the body and can be counterproductive on this program.  It is recommended to keep to mild exercise until the Phase 2 is fully completed.


          Q. Can I drink alcohol on this program?

A:  Alcohol is strictly forbidden during Phase 2 of the program. Dr Simeons suggests that a small glass of red wine during Phase 3 is acceptable.

          Q. Are there any negative side effects?

A:  Some people experience mild detox symptoms for example, headaches - this passes after the first few days. 

         Q. Will I gain the weight back after completing the Slim Me program?

A:  Statistics show that 75-90% of people who complete the diet keep the weight off. Because the Slim Me program assists in regulating your hormonal system and metabolism, keeping the weight off is not difficult. The reason the diet is so successful and favoured by so many people is that it is a short term diet with long term results. After the diet, not only will you have lost weight, people have also reported a change for the better in appetite, and a natural transition to an improved healthier eating behaviour. It is also reported that the program is an ideal strategy for easily transitioning into a healthier relationship with food.           Q. Why can I only have 500 calories per day on the diet?

A:  When following the diet, food intake is limited to 500 calories. The Slim Me drops promote your hypothalamus gland to utilise excess fat storage by releasing it into the body to be used as fuel for normal daily activity. So, although only 500 calories are being consumed daily, your body is actually metabolising stored fat reserves so it can perform efficiently using your excess fat as its main source of fuel. If you eat more than the allotted 500 calories, your body will first use up those calories instead of the fat storage calories causing you to lose less weight.!

          Q. Can I mix my vegetables?

A:   Dr. Simeons states in the “Pounds and Inches” NOT to mix vegetables.

Mixing vegetables typically results in less weight loss or possible stalling.


          Q. Will the Slim Me program help me lose weight?

A:   The Slim Me drops help people lose large amounts of weight quickly by sending signals to the hypothalamus gland to use excess fat storage as the body’s main source of fuel and energy. 

          Q. Does weight loss work for men?

A:  Yes. The Slim Me program can be used by both men and women that are looking to get their weight under control.

Q. Can I complete the program if I am a vegetarian or vegan?

A:   Yes - you will be provided with a specialised diet plan.


          Q. Are frozen vegetables okay?

A:  Yes, however fresh vegetables are preferred.

          Q. Can I complete the program if I am nursing a baby or pregnant?

A:  No - the program is not suitable during pregnancy or during the first 8 weeks after childbirth or whilst breastfeeding.

          Q. Once opened, how long do the Slim Me drops last?

A:  After opening the seal, the Slim Me drops last for a period of 3 months.  After 3 months any remaining drops should be discarded.
